saying what i feel

I have always jumped at the chance to experience new things, especially if I could wipe my mind clear of all the old things that I wanted to change. Moving to New York was one of those things. Changing this website was another.
While having wildleaf as a writing community, I had mainly hoped to receive feedback on my stories so that I could turn in more complete assignments with less need for revision. As an attempt to gain higher participation in my self-fulfilling goal, I also thought it would be a good idea to encourage other people to write as well. There was only one problem: most people don’t like to write or put their stories online for review and possible ridicule (something I had set up the community to specifically object to). Then I stopped writing. I discovered that posting my first drafts on a website was counter productive. I would have a dozen people read my story at once, give me possible revisions, and then pay less and less attention to it in future revisions. I was depending on a diminishing resource.
